What is 718 Interchange?
Interchange is the account and the workspace — one login, one search bar, one place your saved work lives. It is not itself a subscription line item. You subscribe to data products, and Interchange is where you use them.
What counts as a product?
718 Build, 718 Abate, 718 Property, and 718 Bids. Each one covers a different body of public records, and each is licensed separately. Your plan decides how many of them are switched on inside your Interchange account.
How does annual billing work?
Annual plans are billed once for twelve months at ten times the monthly price, so two months are free. Every plan with a published price can be paid either way.
What does an additional user get?
A separate login with its own saved searches, follows, and lists, on the same products your plan covers. Seats are added by our team during onboarding rather than through a self-serve screen.
Does 718 Property cover housing code and enforcement?
Yes. 718 Property carries the HPD housing-maintenance record on a building alongside recorded ownership and transactions: open and closed violations with class A, B and C severity, complaint and problem history, housing litigation, vacate orders, registrations and registered contacts, and Alternative Enforcement Program and Underlying Conditions status. Every figure names the dataset it came from and the date that data runs through.
What happens to records in a product I do not subscribe to?
You see that they exist, not what they say. When a search matches records in a product you do not hold, it shows the product name, the record category, and a count. The records stay closed until that product is added.
Does every search return something in every product?
No. Connections depend on the products you subscribe to and on whether matching public records exist. 718 Build, 718 Abate, and 718 Property commonly join through an address, a BBL, an owner, a company, or a project participant. 718 Bids joins on a vendor or contractor, an agency, a trade, award history, a solicitation, or a project location where one is published — and many solicitations name no single address.
Can I add or remove a product later?
Yes. An additional product on an Essentials or Professional account is $250 per month. If a product is switched off, its saved searches and follows are hidden, not deleted, and come back as they were when it is switched on again.
What does onboarding involve?
We set up your account, switch on your products, and walk your team through the records behind the searches you actually run. Professional adds priority scheduling; Complete adds a guided build-out of your first saved searches and alerts.
Can I export data?
Professional and Complete include CSV export from the browse pages inside your subscribed products. Bulk exports and scheduled data feeds are quoted separately as an Enterprise engagement.
Is there an API?
Not today. There is no public API, key management, or documentation in the product. API and bulk-data access are scoped and quoted as an Enterprise engagement, and we will be specific about timing before you commit to anything.
What source coverage am I buying?
Each product lists the sources it reads, what each one covers, how often it is re-read, and what it does not include. 718 Bids publishes that source by source on its own page. Nothing on this site claims a source that a customer cannot open a live record from.
What are the early-access terms?
Introductory pricing applies to qualified early-access customers and is held for the term you sign. 718 Bids is itself in Early Access while its source coverage is being verified.
